The world is a rough place for Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) these days. Economic and political problems and domestic unrest, not to mention serious security threats in Syria and Iraq, causes major headaches for the Turkish president and his government.
